LOYET MOTORSPORTS UPDATE!

Bradley Loyet racing in his second USAC National Midget Series Race placed ninth. A total of 54 cars entered for qualifications for the 64th Mopar "Turkey Night Grand Prix". Brad's qualifying time for the 1/2 mile oval was timed at 17.594 seconds. In the second qualifying race of 12 laps, Brad led the field to place first. In the feature race of 100 laps Brad was in seventh place until a yellow flag slowed the pace and on the restart he was overtaken by Cole Carter and J.J. Yeley, placing him at the checkered flag in ninth. Our congratulations goes out to Brad & Joe Loyet and chief mechanic Lance.

LEWIS & CLARK EXPEDITION 200 YEARS AGO TODAY 11/26/1804

Just before sunrise a cold snap hits Fort Mandan. The warm weather from the previous day quickly turns cold and the prospect of snow is in the air. Little work is accomplished on completing the Fort due to the extreme cold, windy weather.
