LEWIS & CLARK EXPEDITION 200 YEARS AGO TODAY 11/09/1804

The men awake to a hard frost and work through the day in a hard driving cold wind. Clark is fascinated that the Mandans feed their horses small cottonwood boughs, and keep their horses and dogs inside their lodges overnight.
