LEWIS & CLARK EXPEDITION 200 YEARS AGO TODAY 10/24/1804
"Light snow falls for the third day in a row. Clark's neck is better. After traveling 3 miles, they meet a hunting party headed by one of the Mandan chiefs. They introduce themselves and the Arikaran chief, smoke together with ceremony and formality, thet travel another 4 miles before camping for the night. The Arikaran chief goes to the Mandan camp for the night".
